Jasmina Radovanovic is an expert in commercial and civil law, as well as in issues relevant to the investment environment, with extensive professional experience in solving complex legal relationships and establishing private-public dialogue.
She joined NALED’s team in 2017, where she deals with regulatory reform and activities that contribute to a more favorable investment environment with a special focus on property, energy, infrastructure, justice and business companies. For many years, she has participated in the preparation of numerous analyses, studies, policy documents, advocacy of initiatives and facilitation of various events. She actively participated in the reform of the introduction of the e-Counter for the registration of rights in the Cadastre, the abolition of the seal in business, the introduction of the e-Auction in the enforcement procedure, the improvement of the position of bankruptcy creditors, implementation of the first IT platform for transparent urban planning. She coordinated the development of the Action Plan and provided professional support to competent institutions in the implementation of activities related to the promotion of Serbia on the World Bank’s Doing Business list. She is part of a large number of working groups formed in front of the Government of the Serbia and relevant ministries and is engaged in the creation and implementation of various domestic and international projects. She is the author of the Guide for signing rights in Cadastre and co-author of the regular Quarterly Reports “Lighthouse of Regulatory Reform”, and participates in the drafting of the Gray Book and other policy documents. She is the coordinator of two working bodies of NALED: the Alliance for Property and Investments and the Club of Cities and Municipalities with a Favorable Business Environment (BFC Club), and she organizes and manages the work of the Community of Coordinators in Naled.
After graduating from the First Belgrade Gymnasium, she obtained a degree in International law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade in 2001. As a second generation student, in 2002 she completed specialist studies in European Union Law as part of an International program organized in cooperation with the European University Center from Nancy. Work engagement in the field of finance encouraged her to continue her Postgraduate studies at the same Faculty at the Department of Commercial Law, where she obtained her Master’s degree with honors in 2005 and defended her thesis on “Company mergers in the Yugoslavia and the EU”. The acquired knowledge and experience in various areas of law were crowned with the Bar exam in 2007, which she passed before the Ministry of Justice, and then with the Attorney exam in 2016, which she passed before the Belgrade Bar Association. From 2013. to 2016, she was engaged in research for the purposes of her Doctoral dissertation in the field of criminal offenses of legal entities. She is a licensed Mediator in the peaceful resolution of disputes. She improved her English in London in 2001. In parallel with professional training, she built a multi-year career in the banking sector. In the period from 2002. to 2010, she gained invaluable work experience at Srpska banka AD Beograd, from where she progressed from the position of coordinator for legal affairs to Jubmes banka AD Belgrade in 2010 to the position of assistant director and then director of the Legal Affairs Department, after which she continued her professional career at NALED. In 2023, she started her independent law practice and continued cooperation with NALED as a lawyer.
