Bionique has more of a symbolic/metaphorical meaning – it denotes a principle/approach to solving problems in architecture in accordance with the principles of preserving natural values, with a sense of the environment and the identity of the location.

Our practice focuses on creating human-centered design, as well as sustainable design.

By creating spaces which arise from reality, the environment and the “spirit of the place”, spaces that are “open”, simple and deeply connected to social processes and life, nature and previous experiences, we enable our clients to achieve additional value in their objects in artistic, cultural, material, symbolic and financial sense.

Architectural bureau Bionique was founded by Adam Špehar in 2009. Today, the bureau has three employees who have been working together for ten years on both domestic and international projects.

Bionique joins ASAP because it fully supports the association’s vision, mission and goals. As part of this “wave”, we want to bring about positive changes in domestic practice and increase the reputation of the profession.
