Marina Lazović, d.i.a. (partner – INKA Studio) Born in 1978 in Kladovo. Graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. Partner and co-founder of INKA Studio d.o.o. (2013) along with Dunja Nedeljković, Zoran Lazović, and Nemanja Nedeljković. To date, the studio has completed over 200 projects with a team of a dozen talented architects, with a special focus on research in design and a dedicated attention to the development of architecture and interiors. Marina worked on projects in the studio of Professor Vasilije Milunović, including numerous residential projects, as well as competitions in which they won an award purchase at the Terasyia Terrace competition, as part of a team with Prof. Milunović and Arch. Ivan Simković. Her long-term engagement at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade spanned 5 years: 2 years as a student demonstrator and 3 years as a teaching assistant for the Synthesis Project 1, 2, and 3 courses. Her professional work has been widely recognized with numerous awards and accolades: a Piranesi nomination for Futro House, a Big SEE Award for Futro House, the Grand Prix at the Balkan Architectural Biennale for the interior of Lozionica, as well as many others. She has participated in and won awards in public and invited competitions, including: 3rd prize for the Municipality of Surčin, 3rd prize for the Block complex between Svetozara Markovića, Kralja Milana, Njegoševe, and Kralja Milutina streets, 1st prize for the concept design of the Senjak Market, and 1st prize in the competition for the Palilula Market, which was later realized. Her projects have been published in numerous architectural magazines and portals. She is a frequent participant in lectures and conferences. She recently participated in a lecture on ways of working and team organization, and the relationship of architecture to the program and urban context through the Lozionice project, together with Akvs Architecture in Urania, Zagreb, as well as with the Zagreb-based studio MVA, which presented their project for the reconstruction and preservation of the industrial heritage of Regenerator. Her projects are characterized by conceptual clarity, precise contextual analysis, and a commitment to functional and aesthetic results, with an emphasis on the experience of the space and the needs of the users.
