Zoran Nikolić

KontraStudio

Born in Niš. Graduated from the faculty of architecture at the University of Niš in 2005. In the late nineties, together with the architect Miroljub Stanković, he started the informal art association KontraGrupa, which grew into a multidisciplinary studio for spatial and graphic design called KontraStudio in 2006. He realizes his professional and authorial activities through KontraStudio, with which he won numerous awards and recognitions, among them the Award for Architecture at the Architecture Salon in Belgrade in 2016, the first prize at the Ceresit facade award in Munich (2015), as well as two Grand Prizes at the Architecture Triennial in Niš in 2009 and 2016. He is the co-author of the architecture of many individual and collective residential buildings and interiors. In addition to designing, he also manages investments in the process of constructing residential buildings.
